Guest guest
Gloria Lee [glee] Thursday, March 09, 2000 2:09 PM HS PLEASE VOTE!! "Gloria Lee" <glee Dear List, The poll is based on just the preliminary plan to have the Summer Meeting at the Zen Center, near Providence, Rhode Island some weekend in late July or early August. The stay would cost about $100 for Fri and Sat nights, some meals included. We need your input to know if we have enough interest to proceed. So the choices are simple at this stage. I would like to have some ballpark number to discuss with the Zen Center how many of us to accomodate. So far the high and moderate interest together is only 10 people who have voted. Please write to either me or Rainbolily any special questions or concerns, as we are trying to manage this FOR Harsha whose time is limited. Thanks!!! Thanks Gloria! You are the best! My time is limited indeed as I am busy telling everyone else what to do! :--). Seriously, the grocery shopping and laundry really take my day! I think the retreat might be a good idea but let us relax and go at our pace. If it happens, it happens, if not, we can try again next year if there is an interest. By that time HarshaSutras should be on the New York Times best seller list anyway! If there is a huge interest in visiting Sri Harshashram all of a sudden and without warning, we can accommodate that I think. There are plenty of hotels near bye! :--). On with the retreat! Let us move forward! Harsha
Guest guest
Would we be staying at the Zen Center or must we provide our own lodging arrangements? Thanks, Victor

This is the center run by the writer of Dropping on Ashes on the Buddha..a very fine book as I have heard. They even have a pagoda. Well, the idea here is to have a setting of beauty and peacefulness, meditation space always available, no compulsory planned activities, even the siddhas contest is optional. :) Love to see you there, Glo > > >
