" In your seeing there should be only seeing, in your

hearing only hearing, in your smelling, tasting,

touching, nothing but smelling, tasting, touching, in

your cognising nothing but cognising." Buddha to a man

soon to die, however the Buddha said the man had a

purified mind therefore this instant Nirvana was

effective.

This is my observation of the lists so far, that they

seem cerebral and mental projections. Intellectual and

a kind of Western attempt at an easy way to Moksha

through the mind only, without having to work on the

basics of one's character which is the mind.

Many speak very intellectually but there is little

talk of purification or Ahimsa non-violence.

I really enjoy all the answers to the questions I

asked but I see many words.

My original opinion that these lists are in the

manomayakosa/lower mind still stands. Some answers are

inferring that the Buddha, Ramana teachings are at

some lower level than these lists.

Hands in the field are holier than the lips in the

Temple. Actions speak louder than words.

I have nothing extra to learn here, except that I

shouldn't put myself down, I was far more advanced

than I dared to presume. My vocab was inadequate that

is all.

K must have worked on me without words.

Love Om Namah Sivaya, Tony.

I'll miss you Tony, but I think you are wrong.

I believe you mistake the medium for the message. As someone once said

about books:

"A book is like a mirror: when a monkey looks in, no philosopher looks out."

I don't know what you were really looking for: perhaps another guru? Before

you fly at me, please consider my question.

A mailing list is not a means of liberation per se. No one really believes

this

You missed much of that before you came on the list: I have benefitted

greatly from words and deeds of Ahimsa on this list in the past. This is a

major reason why I remain, and why I say that you only need to sort the

wheat from the chaff.

Why berate the rainy day for not drying your tears, while it nourishes the

soil?

Naturally. We cannot fingerpaint in emails yet. :)) I could see you enjoyed

the chats. But you were asking for answers, gradations, structures of this

and that; in th end these are as you say, just words. As for anything

"real", all I have to offer is some music I've made: you are welcome to that.

God knows what you may believe. For my part, I have only said what I know.

I'm just a bloke who has had some experiences. Feel free to ignore them, or

to compartmentalise them as you wish.

What do you seek, my friend?

But vocab is just words. You're right tho', you needn't put yourself down.

In the same vein, it might be wise to consider others in the same light.

I guess all those emails were kicking out the jams? :)

Peace, and may you find your heart's desire.
