LOL ! I think so too. :))

Me too. :) Still fall into that trap myself

many times. ;(

I have to remind myself not to overdo it, as it

is a relatively pointless activity.

:) Ah, that fear. Now I think I can more say,

I see what your point is. And agree with you.

That's a great image. :) Thank you very

much for sharing it with us.

Like the camel, lion and child card as well. :)

I just sometimes don't like my own affliction

passions, including my own dislike for the

afflictin passions. Or was that inflicting

passions perhaps ? ;)

LOL ! Yeah, you can lead a horse to water etc.

><lol> How beautifully put! :))

I'd like to be able to act out of unconditional

love and give others this which everybody needs

and wants, but at the same time I find all sorts

of excuses not to do so and many times, I feel

I can't do so. But it is always good to be shown

what it is in the acts of others. I observe it

every day.

I wonder who plants this idea of unconditional

love in our minds ? :)

>You still like house/techno? We have some good parties over here! :))

I most certainly do. I would love to be at one

such party... with ear plugs... LOL ! :))

Last summer we went out to a club in Maidstone.

It was waaaaay cool. Such a big place we lost

each other and spent 30 mins searching the crowd.

Lots of good music, active and friendly atmosphere.

And I got to see the

quaint British female ritual of dancing around

the handbag on the floor. LOL !

(Sorry for that very personal sharing, ppl.)

Love,

Amanda.

Oh yes, relatively pointless :)))

I struggle there too sometimes. I reckon Christopher Winter has some good

stuff for me on this. But then, it's the attachment to the passions, not

they themselves, that is the difficulty. Although passions seem to me to

arise from the need for outcome as wished... I'd like to be able to be

passionate without purpose! ;))

Yes, perhaps on this occasion th ehorse has to be shown that it's arrived

at water, not merely been led down the road... May not be the major river

it was told it was going to see, but enough to drink for now, before moving

onto the greater water... assuming the river is as described... :)

Do you also find a frustration that you cannot give the necessary "thing"

sometimes, or don't know how? I guess there's also a learning when the

"thing" is not mine to sort out, and I need to let it work itself out. It

conflicts with my "view" of compassion, as a mission... :)) Perhaps that

attachment is unnecessary... :)

>From my experience, on this list and others, (and I'll never forget it),

what opens the heart allows flow, what closes the heart points at a need

for healing, however arrived at. But it may not be your job to do on that

occasion... :) At least, that helps me accept that I can allow myself a

limited focus sometimes. :)

>I wonder who plants this idea of unconditional

Lovely question. I'm just glad it was planted. Perhaps the penny finally

drops? :)) Like the man said when he'd been hitting his head against a

brick wall, it's so good when it stops...:)

That happens here too. The parties have usually had 200/300 ppl, so they're

not huge, but they are crazy. :))

I am sure there'll be a midsummer party, and probably others to celebrate

good weather... :)

Handbags? The parties held here, you can forget about handbags (ppl

frequently do!). Take a bumbag, leave the rest in the vehicle, and just

have fun!

As far as I can see, we are talking a new wave of tribal/group gatherings,

eclectic, focussed and accepting. This has been the inspiration for the

music. It's not clubbing. It's hi-tech happening. :))

>(Sorry for that very personal sharing, ppl.)

Ditto, thanks, ppl. Just hitting them as they're pitched... :)

Love

Rob
