Guest guest
Seeing Tony's post of what all he had to *do* to become realized/enlightened , I sincerely asked myself if I had an list such as Tony's, and what I would be like if I were realized. I came up with this: If I were realized... .... I would have the loveliness, the compassion, and communication abilities of Gloria. .... I would have the eloquence and understanding as Dan, while at the same time being able to make me laugh and/or smile with appreciation. .... I would have the gorgeous presence of Dirk. .... I would have the knowledge and passion of Tony. .... I would have the courage and strength of Linda. .... I would be making a difference in others and in the world for the better as Zenbob. .... I would have the charisma and honesty of Rob. .... I would make my words sing and dance like Rainbolilly. .... I would feel and see the love of all things as Antoine. .... I would be able to make others feel like a gift as Holly does to each of us. .... I would be as charismatic and a joy to many as Jerry Katz. .... I would be as knowledgeable in astrology and a fantastic teacher like Dharma. .... I would have the patience and the ability to create lemonade out of lemons in life as Jerry GC Wein .... I would have the overall beauty of words and understanding, no matter what is said, as David Hodges. .... I would be able to make people smile with joy with any post like Gen and Michael. .... I would have the wonder, beauty and honesty of Gill. .... I would be as balanced (and a fruitarian!) as Jan. .... I would have the magnificence of Bruce. .... I would have the integration, loveliness, and understanding of Jill. .... I would have the passion and compassion of Moller. .... I would be able to have wonderful and meaningful conversations like Amanda. .... I would be the female version of Greg. :-) .... I would be a joy to everyone like Andrew. .... I would have the love and appreciation of Harsha. And every time someone posts, the list gets longer! I realized I can never be all those things any time soon ('specially since the list continues with each new post), so in my own mind, I would never be realized or enlightened! That made me sad. :-( It made me understand why Tony seemed so frustrated. Being sad was a call for me to look at it differently. I sat and waited. (hmm de dum, lah de dah...) Oh My! (in my favorite words of Dorothy) I saw a huge orchestra playing. And we were all playing a symphony... making beautiful music with our own special gifts we bring to the list which is our appreciation of each other as the audience. Alone, with all of these gifts we each perceive in the other, we are still most beautiful. But together, the angels in heaven sing to our orchestrated symphonies we play here! We cannot play a symphony alone. We cannot go home alone because we aren't alone. The way to oneness of all things is in the making of beautiful symphonic music together. We're just playing whatever part we've been given. And we are all given the chance to do our solo's all the time... and with the backup of the orchestra, and the appreciation of the audience and how differently we perceive each other's gifts, it makes the music sound even richer! Thank you Harsha, for conducting this most beautiful orchestra we all bring our gifts to. Now I'm smiling. :-) Much Love, xxxtg

Whoops! And may I add one more that I certainly didn't mean to forget, as this One is most important in this symphony! .... I would be as melodic with words, and inspiring as Melody has always been for me. Love, xxxtg

Guest guest
Dear xxxtg, What a wonderful sharing!! I feel you ARE all these things right now, and that there's no "If I were" at all. Anything that is great, good, wonderful, helpful, miraculous, you are doing at this very moment. Lighting the world's first fire, bearing the first child, discovering the polio vaccine or E=mc(2), writing the Vedas, linking the first two computers together to chat, creating , writing the message I am typing now. You are doing it all, and everything else as well. But not as xxxtg - as unlimited awareness. Xxxtg and Buddha and Ramana and yours truly - we are being typewritten just like this message. But You are doing it all, and so am I. Where else can names point? Thanks for Your beauty!
