Guest guest
Greetings to All. I have been following this list as time allows and today, after catching up, I couldn't help myself. _I had to respond!_ There were two messages, both for different reasons, that 'created' my urge to respond. The first was from Joyce Short, extracting a slice of her life from 30 years of recorded history. I love reading personal accounts of greatness. Of course, it never seems that way when one is in the middle of it, but from a standpoint of efforting to "overcome" ourselves it is quite the adventure. Thank you for that. The second message that "encouraged" me to write, was from Moller, posting a reply to Roger on the "Witness/Moller" topic. Sometimes, 'I' seek resonation in others to re-establish the thought that existence requires harmony in order to fulfill it's purpose. I acknowledge that harmony called Moller. As a sort of introduction: I have very little knowledge of the various teachings described on this list, and have even less knowledge of the comings and goings of those currently involved in the subject. I am not 'realized', 'enlightened' nor 'aware' and do not possess the desire to learn from a Master or to give counsel. Basically I am worthless. Further, I do not practice meditation and find that when it is undertaken it pales in comparison to the 'aliveness' of daily living. Which is quite funny considering that I lack the desire to go out and 'live'. To make it simple and short: another student has arrived. I am sorry to say that I have learned much already even without anyone here knowing about it. I salute the teacher and the wisdom in you all. Thank you. Your worthiness is in the aliveness you know in daily living. Feeling this aliveness without having to go out and "live" makes you a Master. Namaste! Guest guest
Hi Paul, Welcome to the list. > I have been following this list as time allows and today, after catching > up, I couldn't help myself. _I had to respond!_ Good! The more, the merrier! <snip> > As a sort of introduction: > I have very little knowledge of the various teachings described on this > list, and have even less knowledge of the comings and goings of those > currently involved in the subject. Ah, join the club... why do you consider yourself worthless? Worth isn't measured what you know or what you do. > Further, I do not practice meditation and find that when it is undertaken > it pales in comparison to the 'aliveness' of daily living. You might have learned nothing; that would be a sorrier situation - you would have got bored and left, and we never would have met you! Tell us more about yourself, please? Keep on enjoying being alive in every moment. >I salute the teacher and the wisdom in you all. Thank you. Namaste. Love, Dharma
