Hi Amanda, Greg, Claude, everybody !

Amanda, you wrote:

<that "this is me", "I am this Kundalini".

<From this perspective, the Kundalini becomes

<seen as the true proprietor of the physical

<as those of others.

<Kundalini-Shakti becomes the creative

<how can the

<energy, which in itself is true,

<at the same time also be something which is untrue (individual selves) ?

<The answer may as I see it be exactly what

<you have stated, the world and the universe

<is Maya and Brahman at the same time,

<Brahman is Maya and Brahman at the same time.>

According to classic Kundalini-theory, and I like to think of it like this as

well, the Kundalini-Shakti indeed creates everything visible and invisible,

subtle and gross. When it's in its static or dormant mode in the body, it

creates what we call "ego" or "personality" . This mundane personality

doesn't recognize the shakti as it's origin and feels itself to be separate

from the rest of the universe.

As such, consciousness is focussed in the lower chakras where the true

reality can't be experienced. When the energy begins to move and finally

reaches the top centers in the brain, the consciousness automatically

realizes that it's the shakti that's been creating everything all along -

including the restricted ego.

So, the energy is never untrue, it's there all the time, but it's the

perceiving consciousness that's blindfolded. The stronger the identification

with matter, the thicker the veil is. At the other end of the polarity, where

identification is with spirit, there is no veil and it's seen that the

blindfold indeed in itself was also created by the shakti just by remaining

static or restricted.

>From this perspective, the universe is always Shiva (the perceiving

consciousness - or Brahman) and the play of Shakti (which creates everything

perceived by the consciousness). Maya is just the way the world appears to

be when the energy happens to be sleeping or hasn't quite decided to stay on

the top floor yet.

Greetings,

Michael
