Sri Lakshmanjoo gives the picture of the Kundalini-Shakti, which is the all pervading consciousness, pure consciousness, not even being aware of itself and "sleeping as if after a heavy dose of poison". A cosmic hang over after having partied too much with Shiva perhaps ? This is very important to do. The identification with Kundalini-Shakti is as I see it the most important thing about the process. However, Sri Lakshmanjoo does not see this identifcation as the end of the process and neither do I. I have felt there are strong ego ties not only in the lower chakras, but also in the brow chakra. As well as in some smaller centers at the base of the skull and behind the ears... and the temporal and forehead lobes prior to cleansing. >At the other end of the polarity, where >identification is with spirit, there is no veil and it's seen that the >blindfold indeed in itself was also created by the shakti just by remaining >static or restricted. Yes, again to quote Sri Lakshmanjoo, Shakti's play is to create itself from itself in itself. And discover itself anew. >Maya is just the way the world appears to >be when the energy happens to be sleeping or hasn't quite decided to stay on >the top floor yet. Top floor, I like that expression. However, I believe the state of turiya and turiyatita can be "achieved" without having a socalled Kundalini awakening. Love, Amanda.
