Guest guest
Hitler was a product of his times, his upbringing, his genes. Did he really have a choice in the decisions he made through his life? I have often thought that I could have been anything or anyone eg nazi, SS, Klu Klux Klan (I know I'm everything but this isn't what I'm trying to say here). Hilter just was. Maybe like anyone else he was doing the best he could with the life he was. Harsha: >The great Jnani Sage of Arunachala, Ramana Maharshi, has stated clearly >that "Ahimsa Paramo Dharma" meaning that Ahimsa is the Supreme Dharma >(principle). >Although, it is not an easy practice, the attitude of nonviolence and what >it means deserves reflection and is a worthy aspiration. To me this seems like an easy practice but that is the way I am. I did nothing to develope this attitude of nonviolence... it's just part of the person that I am. I can't even step on a cockroach and I put spiders outside rather than kill them. Wouldn't the same apply to a person with an attitude of violence? Unless they were given the grace to see that nonviolence was good and knowledge of how to change, could they? >It is the antidote for the suffering of the mind and the world. Hmmm... that feels right. >Self Realization is not different than the Supreme State of Silence that >when reflected through human mind appears as the the milk of kindness >towards all living beings.
