Guest guest
Dear Roger, I saw your post where you had mentioned the "darkside of Christianity". Could you (or any one else) please elaborate a bit with some examples? I am aware of a very narrow-minded side of Christianity, the Spanish Inquisition and such but am not aware of any modern day darkside. I am just wondering how Christianity got singled out of the religions? I mean, I've heard of plenty of hucksters in every religion. Thanks, Paul Ladendorf

Thanks, Paul Ladendorf >> Hiya Paul, Here are a few questions for your consideration... Most Christian religions are based on Catholicism, and all religions are rules which form around spiritual emanations. So let's examine the roots, rather than all the "spin-offs." Why are the Vatican files not open? Why is the Vatican Library accessible only to the few "chosen?" Why are there no female priests? Why is guilt so often used as a weapon towards small children in private Christian schools? Why is there a Madonna ~ Whore syndrome for women and not for men? Why do women "love, honor and obey?" Obey? \ Why are men and women who are starving being told not to use birth control? I personally think a good solution is to let all priests work for a few years in an orphanage; diaper changing, children screaming in sickness in the middle of the night, also their laughter, joy, fears and tears - would be very healthy, very. For a long time do you know who owned the expensive land in Northern Virginia? RCA. RCA is not the record label, it is the Roman Catholic America. Think they may want to spread some of that money for food and heat in the inner city? There are good priests, some do their best. But the Vatican itself, is a very old, and very powerful, (read loaded $) political machine. Don't kid yourself. The "Good Pope" was my uncle's best friend, what do you think the Curia did to him? It's a rather badly kept secret. There's plenty more, but it's worth looking at realistically, ignorance is the handmaiden of most of the world's problems.
