Dear List,

I haven't been contributing since joining the list over a year ago, but

now

I feel I have something to say. I would welcome any comments.

Last Good Friday was spent in Wiltshire (the magical place of

Cropcircles!),

it was a great day, I was very happy. That evening I went to a club in

London. I was with really good friends and my good mood carried through

into the evening. As soon as I got there I was dancing - 4 -5 hours later

I

am still dancing, I haven't sat down once. All night I have been drinking

water, I was very aware of MY bottle and kept the lid on at all times. I

didn't drink anyone's drink, or leave my bottle unattended. At about

4.30am, I am starting to feel very happy, very uplifted. I am telling my

friends how great I feel and what a wonderful night it was. I am beaming

with joy, I feel amazing, incredible euphoria. I am not tired, my body

feels strong and energetic, I am surging with power.

For a moment I stop and lean against the wall, and then it happens. I

feel

this rush of what I can only explain as pure white energy rush from my

ankles to the top of my head. As it goes through my head my hearing

becomes

muffled and distorted. My legs after the rush now feel weak. I am

pouring

with sweat, constantly........

I am now holding onto the wall for support - but I feel amazing. Also I

felt that I needed the toilet, I felt that I may loose control of my

bodily

functions.

I then think - oh no someone has spiked my drink, as I have never felt

this

feeling before. So I make my excuses and go home, as I want to experience

this without being in a crowded club.

So I check my pupils in the bathroom mirror, they are dilating, which is a

good sign as on drugs they don't respond. Then about 45 minutes later I

gat

another rush of energy. My body is now trembling and I can't stop. Yet

these feeling are pleasurable and I feel happy and calm. Another 45 mins

later it happens again. By about 7.00am I fall asleep.........

In the morning I wake up, and I check how I feel - headache?, depressed?,

tired?, sore spine? None of those I feel great.......

Again check in the mirror to see how I look. And I look amazing, my eyes

are

bright, skin is flushed and basically I look radiant. That morning I

meditated for 31 mins, and the same feelings came back - rush after rush

of

white misty energy.

Bear in mind that I am a teacher of Kundalini Yoga, and I practise 4 times

a

week, plus I meditate everyday for at least 31 mins. I have been taking

this

cropcircle essence, whish was produced in the DNA formation in Avebury

1996,

which is the same tattoo which i have at the base of my spine.

I haven't spoke to any of my teachers about this yet, I would welcome any

comments to clarify whether this was a stirring of Kundalini?

Warmest Regards,

Julie

Hi Julie,

It does seem like stirrings of Kundalini. Practice of yoga, pranayama, and

meditation makes one more prone to the Shakti awakening in a variety of ways

including the stimulation of optic nerves.

Go to the following url. The second link is to the Tantra and Kundalini

paper on Angelique's Kundalini website.

It has a pranayama section in it.

By the way, certain mind altering drugs can also trigger kundalini or like

experiences (not something I recommend). So you were right to be concerned

about whether there was something in your drink or not. What is this

cropcircle essence that you take?

Certain physical movements with breath control can trigger Prana currents

if one is already on the verge. This might have happened unconsciously

during the disco dancing. If you continue with meditation, the experience

is likely to grow until you start losing body consciousness while sitting or

lying down. Lucid dream experiences, celestial visions, or entering

different samadhis are all indications of Kundalini awakening and might come

after a few months or a few years. Certain life styles might facilitate

awakening and rising of the Shakti. You should read up on the important

Shakti literature and keep in touch with your teachers and tell them what

you are experiencing. Hopefully, they can give you good guidance as well.

Hi Harsha/Julie:

It certainly appears to be Kundalini movement which, as we know, is

different from total liberation (moksha). The experience seemed very

Sufi like to me which is personally interesting as I have been playing

around with the idea of going to a Sufi center because it is something

I've always wanted to do. I also practice Kundalini Yoga but have

been greatly drawn to more joyful and ecstatic practices recently.

Not too long ago I heard someone say if your spirituality is not like

making love why bother and that makes great sense to me. What you

experienced was a wonderful way for kundalini energy to

move....enjoy.

Namaste,

Linda
