Some may give nourishment while others cause a mild case of indigestion. :-)) You may be interested to know that I have Czechoslovakian ancestory. My maternal grandfather immigrated to the U.S.A. sometime well before Czech and Slovenia came under Russian domination. He had a homestead in Kansas. He was a tough little man who raised three children by himself. But enough of him. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Mine is very similar to yours in some areas. Yes, we have to learn to love and accept ourselves before we can learn to love and accept others. This seems to be a natural part of growth on the path. I am twice your age, a father, and a grandfather. The Great Path does not care what the state of our physical bodies is though, does it? When Grace focuses Her Love Lights on us - we are caught! :-))))) I especially relate to your experiences attempting to share or even explain what has happened to/for/with yourself to others. I have learned/am learning just to be gentle, kind, and compassionate. When Grace needs this mouth to speak, it will speak. Heaven help me! ;-)) After the Awakening granted me I now see THAT shining in all beings, places and things. At first I wanted to shout out to people, DON'T YOU SEE IT?!?! Grace lovingly held me in check though. Now I do shout out but not with words - with my eyes with action with love. I am still a fool and probably always will be! :-)) But better to be a fool in love than to be a king in hell! ;-))))))))))))) Again, welcome. HAHAHAH and HOHOHO!
