Guest guest
Dear Michael, thank you for your honest words. This week I participate in one retreat here in Prague(teacher is bhante Wimala(theravada)). At the end of this retreat in Sunday it will be some kind of initiation with accepting five principles. It looks like I become a buddhist in Sunday. With bhante Wimala I spoke about my question what to do when people are asking me with different but very difficult spiritual question. He answers me that when I decide to answer I have to answer only what I know and be very honest to that person. I think this honesty is important very much. Now I understand I think better what is the goal in an answering questions. Sometimes is just hard to be honest, calm, and peaceful from different reasons(work stress, problems in family, health problems etc.), but I'm trying and trying again and again... :] Yesterday was fullmoon here and also Vesak celebration, an I think that more sensitive people felt that wonderful vibrations and energy. Here in Prague in 20:45 - 21:45 CET was meditating at least 50 people, concentrating just on breath and then on the Heart. My body is still shaking when I connect my heart to that energy. Here in Prague are also some different groups, which are meditate on the fullmoon. But there I was not. So I know only about 50 people. Do you know about some groups of people which meditate together when the moon is full and shine like a big white lamp? Now I understand I think better what is the goal in an answering questions. This sounds like excellent advice. I have learned to pause and check within before answereing. This helps. > > Sometimes is just hard to be honest, calm, and peaceful from different reasons(work stress, problems in family, health problems etc.), but I'm trying and trying again and again... :] > Practice makes perfect as the old saying goes. Many things happened in my life - both good and bad. I did some mistakes, I did some good decisions. My path led me through wild places to the thai buddhist monastery, back to Europe, professional carrier, almost family life... Well everywhere. And many more to come I believe. Anyway, I found my post here tonight and red my post from the distance of six years. It is very strange to read it. In one moment it looked like it wrote some different person. I can tell you - I am still on path and always I'll be. Path to peace, truth and freedom. I never thought I will meet such as people and situations as I did. Life is a big mystery. The greatest gift. Be honest, be good, be truthful. Let truth teaches you. Be all well and happy and don't be afraid to reveal yourself in Self.
