Guest guest
Hi All, The Full Moon this morning, July 16, looks like a whopper. I don't know about you, but I'm feeling incredible energy from it already. The exact time will be 1:55pm GMT; that's Greenwich Mean Time, 4 hours from EDT. The Full Moon is an opposition of Sun and Moon, and this month they're exactly on the Moon's Nodes... exactly! Sun is on the Dragon's Head (N. Node) at 24 Cancer, and Moon on the Dragon's Tail at 24 Capricorn. Mars is close to the Sun at 19 Cancer. In the West the North and South Node are considered to have an influence similar to Jupiter and Saturn, if milder. In the East the North Node is seen as personal karma and the South Node as group karma. The Full Moon is the best time in the month for meditation, the most powerful energies. This time the energies may be especially strong and perhaps stressful for some. Saturn in trine and sextile to Sun and Moon forms a pattern called an Easy Opposition... Saturn would normally be seen as the point where extra energy could be channeled. But this opposition doesn't look so easy, because Saturn is still conjunct Jupiter, which has a very different energy... together they give a push-pull, on-off effect. And Jupiter is moving into an opposition to Pluto and Chiron, still conjunct mighty Antares. Seems to me like a good day to stay home, take it easy, meditate... and if the energy is very strong, eat and do some physical exercise or work. Drive carefully! In the Earth chart, the Sun is in the house of communication and Jupiter/Saturn in the 1st house, so I wouldn't be surprised to see communication problems and disruptions this month. If you would like a copy of the Earth chart for the Full Moon, drop me an email. Love, Dharma
