Guest guest
Hi Jill. Wonderful to hear from you. You must be all settled in the new house and decorated it with your paintings or perhaps you are still in the process. It still delights me to know that you found the dream job and the ideal place to live close to your family. Did you have a chance meet Dirk. Please report on your Satsanga (if you and Dirk don't mind sharing). The retreat went very well. The pictures are on the files. You would have absolutely loved it Jill! Here is some poetry from Jnaneshwar that you might enjoy. By the way, thank you Mike, Mark, Michael, Victor, Dharma, Dan, Jerry, and everyone for your recent posts. Sorry, if I forget anyone. I love your poetry Mace! Here are some selected verses from Jnaneshwar, a 13th century Indian mystic poet. ________________ Amritanubhav (The Nectar of Mystical Experience) Chapter One: The Union of Shiva and Shakti (Selected verses) I offer obeisance to the God and Goddess, The limitless primal parents of the universe. They are not entirely the same, Nor are they not the same. We cannot say exactly what they are. How sweet is their union! The whole world is too small to contain them, Yet they live happily in the smallest particle. When He awakes, the whole house disappears, And nothing at all is left. Two lutes: one note. Two flowers: one fragrance. Two lamps: one light. Two lips: one word. Two eyes: one sight. These two: one universe. In unity there is little to behold; So She, the mother of abundance, Brought forth the world as play. He takes the role of Witness Out of love of watching Her. But when Her appearance is withdrawn, The role of Witness is abandoned as well. Through Her, He assumes the form of the universe; Without Her, He is left naked. If night and day were to approach the Sun, Both would disappear. In the same way, their duality would vanish If their essential Unity were seen. The book from which these excerpts are taken, is entitled "Jnaneshvar: The Life and Works of the Celebrated Thirteenth Century Indian Mystic-Poet," by S. Abhyayananda. Guest guest
A bodaciously big hello to you Harsha and to the Harsha crew. Is it like? Two burgers: one bite. Or am I being irreverent. More Jnaneshwar from time to time; if you please. Love and affection to all, Victor

Hey, we love humor here so you can be irreverent Victor. Please keep the quotes from your Wisdom Mind coming when it is convenient. And Mace, Keep the poetry coming and hopefully others will join. Guest guest
Welcome back, Jill! Thank you for sharing the nifty experience with Dirk. I've seen the raining white light a number of times, most recently a few weeks ago when I felt a particularly strong connection to the Divine Mother. I was outside at twilight, looking at a tree, and the white light rain was so vivid I was sure it was going to pile up on the tree like snow! Sometimes I see it when I'm giving Reiki treatments, too. I think the sight is a function of your vision as much as it is from Dirk's energy field. Holly
