It made me think of this story told by Anthony Mello: "The Master once told of a neighbor in the countryside who had an obsession with acquiring land. 'I wish I had more land,' he said one day. 'But why?' asked the Master. "Don't you have enough already?' 'If I had more land, I could raise more cows.' 'And what would you do with them?' 'Sell them and make money.' 'For what?'
