Guest guest
Hey ..... these posts are gettin dangerously entertaining. l'll never get off my butt if this keeps up. Greg, your wonderful Sikh temple story reminds me of the traveller who accidentally stumbles upon Shangri-la, then after leaving is never able to find his way back to it again. On the other hand, with Harsha's guidance you will, along with the rest of the his sangha.) Andrew, your locale sounds absolutely enchanting. Your comment about taking a casual drive down to the beach after dinner with your wife had me just drooling with envy. And l loved your comments to Nasir. Hey, you don't live near Green Gables do you? ) Nasir, do you know an lndonesian tummo reiki master named lrman leffendi? He gives great shaktipat according to a friend of mine who received it recently ( transmitted from over there ) -- l've lost his email address. Just curious. Harsha, in view of recent strife, l'm amazed to hear of the former tradition you described between Sikhs and Hindus. This makes me feel even sadder about the way this relationship has apparently deteriorated from those times. l loved your Guru Nanak story. thanx to all, jerry
Guest guest
Dear Brother Jerry, Yes, I know him. I was attuned Reiki I by one of Reiki Masters in his Foundation. I don't take the next level attunement because it's quite expensive for me. He has written some books about Reiki and Kundalini, the last book was Shing Chi, he said it's about Chakras above Crown Chakra. His foundation is growing and become famous here in Indonesia. My friend who works at the same company with me, is a branch's chairman of his foundation for Riau province, and I know him very well. His name is Mr.Mimi Lim (mimilim), I will forward your email to him as well. If you want to know more about Irmansyah Effendi, I could give you his email address or his foundation moderator's email address, or you can ask Mr.Mimi Lim, but don't tell them about my opinion that his spiritual foundation is quite commercial. :-) With Love & Light, Nasir > > > Nasir, > do > you know an lndonesian tummo reiki master named lrman leffendi? About the Hindu-Sikh conflicts and differences of recent times - yes it is sad. Sad but not surprising. Throughout human history brothers have become enemies, over one thing or another. This is true in Europe, in the Middle East, Far East etc. My father and his brothers, although Hindus, have "Singh" as their middle name. Singh is used by most Sikhs as their last name. Hindu Rajputs also use Singh. Guru Nanak is considered the first Sikh Guru and was born in a Hindu family. He was a man of peace and nonviolence. Back then, there was no Hindu-Sikh distinction. When the Hindus and Sikhs were persecuted by the moslem emperors (One Sikh Guru was beheaded because he refused to give up his religion), they became warriors. The Sikh became a distinct warrior community in the 18th century when the 9th and the last Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, was persecuted by Aurengjeb (the last of the well known mogul emperors).
