Guest guest
Holly, I don't know if you're familiar with Caroline Myss's works, Anatomy of the Spirit and Why Some People Don't Heal and How They Can... I found a great exercise in the second book on Chakras... for me it helps with the "population" overwhelm... and yes, i see sadness in D.C. Trees too... too much pollution to cope with. You should see Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Forest, it's deforesting so fast it's truly a global tragedy... and Skyline is at least an hour from the beltway... So, I try to travel less, use less gas, fly less often (which lately seems to be easy <g>)... It's difficult, I don't know except I once heard a person say that each person that raises up, helps raise all consciousness. There's a Tibetan who used to be a monk with the Dalai Lama that lives out here towards Skyline... his presence is so peaceful that when he leaves Virginia, we can feel him leave, and when he returns we feel that too... he is like a mountain of peace. I've read the first book, but not the second. If you're out near Skyline Drive, you're in wonderful country and I don't begrudge the Tibetan his choice, either! Every year about this time, my mouth starts watering for the apples out there! Love, Holly
