Had I been your mother, I would have been rather displeased with this treatment of my son. Have a good time out. Love, Amanda. Thanks Amanda and welcome back. My mother was actually quite upset and spoke to the owner and principal of the school. The teacher who punished me was the prinipal's father and well known as a disciplinarian. His philosophy was that children should be beaten for their own good. That philosophy was unfortunately the prevailing trend in India in those days. This man was in his late 60s but could give very powerful slaps. He used to ride to the school on his bicycle every morning. All the children used to notice that he had a huge prostate gland. We did not know anything about those things but still wondered how he rode the bicycle. He seemed quite healthy in other ways though.
