Guest guest
If water was described to us in a thousand different ways, would it remove our thirst? From this we come to learn the value of what is real and the limitations of description. If water is polluted, our senses tell us this, and we do not drink, in order to preserve our well being. If we are given to know the value of pure water by the test of our senses. One can only hope that that we will come to know the relative value of words from the discernment of our hearts. The final test of course inevitably rests with the ultimate result of our encounter with either. Mace

Guest guest
Hee, hee, hee... I can hear the eternal (Western) Mother, calling out "Don't you kids swim too close to the water, now..." My friends and I also used to ask about peoples experiences (on drugs, of course) "Was it a splooosh, or a whooosh?" No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home.
