Dear Harsha and listing…

Again, thank you for the warm welcome to the listing. As

you know, the Gator (Robert) mostly lurks about in the pond searching

for tasty morsels. The pond now has less of an algae problem, due to

the less hours of sunlight in the northern hemisphere. Yet, the dying

algae serves the purpose of when the water in the pond turns over is

the much needed source of next years nutrition of the lotus blooms.

In your absent Harsha (when the cat is away the mice will

play), it became known to me of other respected members (sometimes a

bit crazy;) of the listing and of their wit and wisdom. Also, what

was, is, obvious is the love and respect that these good people have

for each other. That is a joy!

Even though I desire to remain mostly silent, please know

I do appreciate this listing – it is a goldmine.

Thank you Robert. Yes. There are many gems here. Humor, compassion,

wisdom, gas, we have it all! This is one crazy, wise, and wild group

regardless of whether I am here or not!

Last time I forgot to mention that Jessica is wonderful and Amanda and

Gloria have been doing a fantastic job as Moderators. Welcome Nittin.

Thanks Jody for the information on the Kali Ma Mandir. The semester

is starting next week for me. Thanks for your presence in words and

in silence.
