Guest guest
BHATPHOACC [bHATPHOACC] Friday, September 01, 2000 4:29 PM question Friends - I get the feeling from reading the postings that some or most of you are part of a group, is this so? And how is Harsha related to this group? I mean there seems to be a connection. I don't mean the egroup. Someone mentioned photos of a get together too, I believe. Well if someone wants to clarify, that would be helpful. Just asking. Barbara in Florida (gosh Mark I almost wrote Bruce!) Hi Barbara, The pictures being referred to are of the a/NDS retreat at the Zen Monastery in Cumberland, Rhode Island to which some of the members of the group came. The pictures taken by Christiana and Gloria can be found in the a file section. Not too bad looking of a group! :-). I am a professor here in Rhode Island and I started the a group on January 1, 1999. I needed the spiritual fellowship in my life. The group is composed of some wonderful and wise spiritual luminaries, yogis and sages, who are often brilliant and witty and show a great sense of humor. Love Harsha
Guest guest
Dear Barbara, We are all professors of philosophy here at the University of Walamaloo. Harsha is special because he just received tenure for drinking an entire case of Fosters in less than 30 seconds. This beat the previous Australian sipping record of 2.5 minutes held by some European bastard named Gurdjieff. Many think he hypnotized the faculty of his day into thinking he drank that fast, but I think we Australians are far too stupid to be hypnotized, so he done it fair and square. Welcome to the department. What are you teaching, and may I count on you to take over my lectures whenever I'm too hungover to deliver them? (eg most of the time) apologies to Harsha, Australians, Europeans, philosophers, beer drinkers, and all other sentient beings; may they be free from all abuse for the next several minutes... I never see any imposition, because it is beautiful seeing my friends flowering. I am in flowering like my friends, and every single ray of sunlight, and the times of shade, are all bringing me to understanding, and the fullest flowering of realization. > > I use to post from Ramana's teachings on the lists > dedicated to the devotees and as far as I know > and as I have been reassured many times by now - > to listen again and again to Ramana's words > it is a way of life for a Ramana devotee, > and it is a way of life for me. > > But this is not a list of devotees. Ramana'a words heard again and again remind me of japa yoga, and I never tire of singing bhajans. I never skip any of the Ramana posts. It was the first thing that drew me to this group, more of Ramana's words of Wisdom. He has even showed me how to be a more loving Bhakta. His words on the screen are more than mere printings, they are living Truth that I absorb like osmosis and I grow, and I fall more deeply in love with Love. Guest guest
You carry on dear Vicky... The question that Ramana proposes to his listeners is the last question any questioning human is to have. It is to replace all other questioning and doubt about oneself... until the evidence of the answer at the very moment of coming clear, evaporates itself and the question... Hint? It is the simplest that is... and for everyone it is not what they think the answer should or could be... Love, Wim
