Hello everyone:

 

This has been in the works for six months or so and I was going to announce

this on-line magazine when I came back from vacation. But

before I could announce our friend Jerry (Katz) had already started the

on-line Nonduality magazine. We have always supported the creative endeavors

of brother Jerry and in the long run the mutual support helps everyone. In

any case, I felt that I should wait to make this announcement until the

first Nonduality Magazine was out.

 

So here it is. a will be publishing 4 extremely high quality

on-line magazines a year (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). We are going to

give the Yoga Journal and other big names a run for their money. :-). The

first issue will be out in December.

 

We are looking for editors, reviewers, contributors in the area of the

teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi, Krishnamurti, (and others), Kundalini

Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and other yogas, Traditional Advaita-Nonduality, Poetry,

Stories, Astrology, Health and wellness, Raw Foods and the vegetarian Diet,

and other selected topics. Please feel free to contact me privately and give

your suggestions about what you would like to see included in the magazine.

I'm looking forward to reading your magazine.

 

There is a subject I would like to see included. It is the law of

resonance - a basic phenomenon related to the very notion of shakti, a

fundamental concept in philosophy. I will review different aspects of

resonance that could be presented in an

article or more articles.

 

Resonance transfers information and energy between two systems : the source

system and the resonator system. The process also creates a two way link

between both source and resonator. Related aspects of resonance :

amplification of energy when multiple resonators are in synchronicity. The

propagation over a great distance of energies creating the amplification in

avalanche of energies. The retour shock - a negative side effect of black

magic due to resonance phenomenons. The cyclicity of energies : daily,

weekly, annual - resonance of time - why should we meditate at the same hour

and the same place every day. Resonance as the link between microcosm and

macrocosm. Resonance as the basis of the principle "Man is created by the

looks and spirit of God" (sorry for the approximate translation from Bible).

Resonance as the basis of structuring the universe in three planes -

physical, astral and causal - according to the frequencies of resonance -

the scale of frequencies as the scale of subtlety of matter/energy.

Resonance as the secret of telepathy and empathy. Resonance in asanas - the

body posing in different postures creates resonance with the energies of

form - the secret key of hatha yoga. Resonance of 'form/shape energies' in

Yantras. Resonance of the pyramid shape. Resonance of the repetitive forms

of atomic structures in crystals. The subtle body is made of seven chakras -

complex resonant systems of energy, emitting and receiving vibrations

to/from the macrocosm. Astrology - the resonance of the heavenly bodies with

humans. Absolute - a resonance with infinite frequency. Resonance is

oscillation, oscillation is moving between two extremes, those extremes are

yin and yang, + and -. So resonance introduces the two fundamental

principles of manifested universe, yin and yang.

 

I could go on even more. This principle of resonance deserves attention and

a proper place in the spiritual philosophy. It is suitable for western

mentalities and can go really deep into eastern spiritual mysteries. It is

like a bridge between both of them. It could be a central notion, the basis

of other notions. Resonance is suitable for analogies for ex: describing how

the radio works compared to how the mind works, etc. It is also a popular

notion because it is deeply related to phisics and commonly experinced in

real life (for example the use of radio).

 

Well, I hope I wasn't way too enthusiastic about it

I am offering to provide materials for you if you want to publish about

resonance.
