Guest guest
Dear Victor, You said: <<If I cannot recognize truth how can I expect others to recognize truth? If I cannot simply be how can I expect others to simply be? If I cannot be joy and happiness how can I expect others to be joy and happiness?>> (M) Why not leave the 'others' out of the thing for the moment. The fact is you do not recognise truth, you cannot BE, you cannot be joy and happiness. Does this mean you have nothing to share? Does this mean that we cannot look at the possible reasons for our unhappiness, untruthfulness and non-BEING together as friends? Why the despair? The fact is we are together in this mess. So why not make ourselves available for one another? Surely, the very fact that we are not on the other shore, makes it so positively positive for us to share the possible reasons for our present dilemma. We do not recognise truth, but what I am sugggesting is that we look together at our falseness. Unless of course we naively believe that we will arrive on the other shore unmodified and undone from our present state of non-being. And to look at our falseness we must learn to recognise it. In this there is NO 'endless speculation'. The truth of our falseness is our living reality. There need to be no speculation about this. All it requires is the will to find out about ourselves, the courage to face it, the desire to be undone in the process and the ability to let go of what we find to be blocks we put in the way of our clarity. None of this requires speculation. Speculation comes into the picture when we project images which do not reflect ourselves as we are. Then these images become part of our confusion which further block our clarity. This all we can point out to one another. If we are interested. IF WE ARE INTERESTED. That is the question only each one of us can answer for him/herself. Interest is to start afresh. To adopt an open agenda where absolutely NOTHING is taken for gospel. What we have is ourselves, and however confused this state may be, it is ALL we have and ALL WE ARE at this present moment. No speculation here. Simple facts. But facts may be a result of confused thinking and feeling. So this is where we may help one another correct our mutual confusion. IF WE ARE INTERESTED. This Ashram is for ALL who are still INTERESTED and who have not become paralized by their own certainty and need for certainty. Certainty is the death of enquiry. And the death of enquiry is the death of any possibility of ever transcending the falseness of our present state. If I cannot recognize truth how can I expect others to recognize truth? If I cannot simply be how can I expect others to simply be? If I cannot be joy and happiness how can I expect others to be joy and happiness? If I cannot drop endless idle speculation how can I expect others to drop endless idle speculation? What to do or not do? What to do or not do? May we all be in It As-It-Is and have the experience of It As-It-Is.
