ACES-KEEPERS

Re: [ACES-KEEPERS] Re: Re: <sigh>

Harsha here is the post.

The full and new moon cycles will relate to our mental and emotional

states as the moon is the indicator of mind. The mind in Vedic

teachings is considered to be 'manas' and incorporates emotions as

well one's mental thinking. Due to the many levels of mind the moon

also has an influence on one's subconscious as well as conscious and

unconscious thought patterns. Psychic and intuitive impressions are

considered part of manas so when the moon becomes strong or

highlighted our entire psyche becomes involved. Additionally, the

Moon is thought to have a strong influence over prana and it's

movement through the 3 nadis (channels) of the spine. During the

Full Moon cycle prana is more available and will easily move up

through the spinal column. If one has a strong nervous system, is

balanced and has worked out issues and impurities the energy will

move more easily up the central nadi and experience a more peaceful

journey. However, often what we perceive as kundalini movement is

actually prana or shakti energy working to purify and the experiences

become more unbalanced. If the prana is moving through the right nadi

or pingala the energy will be fiery and will bring agitation. If it

is moving through the left nadi or ida the energy will be more

emotional and perhaps draining. The new moon causes the prana to be

very low with a noticeable lack of energy. The new moon is more

geared towards quiet purification and can be perceived as depression

with little 'peak' type experiences.

This particular full moon cycle comes at the time of the equinox and

the electronic magnetic force of the planet is always a bit unstable.

Additionally, the last new moon cycle (the new moon is considered as

the 'start' of each month's lunar cycles) marked the shifting of the

eclipse points from Cancer/Capricorn to Gemini/Sagitarrius this shift

will bring additional mental energy with a more fiery touch. This

particular Full Moon fell in a contellation known as Purva Bhadrapada

and is the first half of an asterism known as the "scorching pair" or

the "burning pair". This lunar location is known for bringing out a

fiery energy.

While perhaps uncomfortable the energy that you have been experiencing

is in perfect alignment with the work the Full Moon was supposed to be

doing at this time. During the days closest to both the full and new

moons it is helpful to eat wisely and lightly, try to move out of the

mundane world a bit more and to work with gentle activity (as in

walking rather than intense physical exercise), doing grounding type

meditations or yoga sets that are 'softer' and balancing pranayamas.

Most importantly perhaps is a level of objective detachment with our

emotions and thoughts during this time period and rather than

focusing on the heightened energies of the purifying shakti or

kundalini taking the attitude that there is a 'housecleaning' going

on and rather than trying to sleep during the process watching a good

movie or reading a very mundane magazine. I find that it is important

to step aside and let the shakit do it's thing as it does have it's

own intelligence and trying to understand shakti or control it in any

way is an exercise in futility......to me common sense and surrender

are sometimes the only tools we have.

By now the energy has decreased and I hope you are feeling better.

Love,

Linda

Dear Michael and Bo and Antoine, and everyone,Thank you for this.... I

don't suppose it matters if anyone knows why all theburst of K, maybe

like those solar flares it just happens. It does help to knowit's

happening to others too. The past several days have been something

and thensomething else.Still, it would be nice to get some sleep

again. Bo, I can really identify withyour post of it feeling like

being drunk. I truly feel like I don't quite knowwhat I am doing most

of the time, and Harsha that is not just an excuse for notbeing

mindful. What worries me more is that being so prone to mood swings

andall in the first place, the highs and lows are getting pretty

extreme. Is anyoneelse going from blissful to weepy, or do I need to

call my doctor? Sometimesjust the lack of sleep can trigger this, so

I try to lay low and hide out. Anysuggestions??Love,Gloria
