Guest guest
Hey Harsha-ji, Enlightenment a social construct! Hold up your hand! Slap! A High Five! You know, it's funny how people who teach that everything is an insubstantial appearance in consciousness turn around and take the notion of enlightenment and authorization so seriously!! Guest guest
Hi, Just had to jump in here as only this morning I was speaking with a friend about how I had no interest in joining an ashram connected group in town. My friend said she understood but had a hard time accepting my theory that being part of the structure of a group would not hurt my sadhana or that I was not in some way being a traitor to 'guru'. Finally, I told her that I felt all paths eventually led one to the same body of water but one has to jump in alone. Funny thing was she still couldn't understand that it was not like leaving behind a guru more like becoming one with one. Guess it often does come back to needing some type of socially mandated validation....all just stuff to be shed. Greg I enjoyed your comparison to the battles over kosher labels....that is a big thing in my neck of the woods....the small town court actually has these issues on their dockets. We do spin around in insanity until we just get tired....then of course, we are crazier but know that we are crazy :-). Love, Linda >Hey Harsha-ji,>Enlightenment a social construct! No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
