It seems to me as I mentioned on adwaita, that sanyas is giving up attachment nothing else. Quoting numerous slokas on the variet of ways one can describe sanyas, seems t o be self defeating. That is there comes a point where one has to let go of scriptures, they are for the mind and are binding. In the dream the jiva comes up from the rock, through the stages to animal to human, moksha can never clean up the entire population. For as it is a dream there is no beginning but there is an end, Waking up! In the meantime there isn't much we can do about our karma, but live it through and find out 'Who', views this illusion and 'Who', lives the karma, or doesn't. Om Namah Sivaya, Tony.
