How

truly glorious

it must be,

to be a defender

of the faith!

To rise in unmitigated righteousness

and deliver divine justice

to all those

who impugn the

One who spoke

of compassion, love

and the brotherhood of man.

I can think of nothing

more challenging

than teaching

others the importance

of these attributes

with a bloody sword.

Mace, I read every one of your posts.

Your poetry is gentle touch of awareness.

I sense your wisdom in these beautiful words

which seem to flow through you like a gentle stream..

Thank you for sharing your kind soul.

I agree with you Mary!

You are never scary

Although your pal Mark

is a little hairy!

Yes. Mace is our Ace!

His poetry shows his Face!

His beauty comes at a fast Pace!

Its our duty to not lose the Race!

So we try to keep up!

Cause we don't want to lose Face!

Love you all

Harsha

P.S. I wrote it quickly. With revisions, it will improve.

Round an round this old world rolls,

Life's to short, n' loves too long

to keep from sing'n these old songs

Golly, can you tell I'm blushing?

My face is red, I guess it's toilet-flushing

These harsh comments that just keep rushing

Out my lips even though I am always shushing

myself from inside

Oops, gotta go hide

or swim against the tide

or maybe just bide

my time until my ride...

Golly, Harsha, if I were poetry editor, neither your poem nor mine would

make it into the magazine, but many of Mace's would. Hey Mace, do you

have a favorite?

Here is one I wrote awhile ago:

One (alone)

Two (apart)

Two in one (together) is the third.

Thus is the dance of the universe;

Neither dance nor dancer is sufficient

To be, it is required

That the dancer dance the dance.

Love, Mark
